February is here, a time associated with love, affection, and puppy dog kisses. As dog parents, we love spending time snuggled up with our best friends, but we don’t necessarily love the stinky breath that can come with it… Not only is it unpleasant, but bad dog breath could also be a warning sign that your pup is dealing with dental disease or oral health problems that require your attention.
Every February, veterinarians and the greater pet community come together to celebrate National Pet Dental Health Month, a time to raise awareness about the importance of your dog’s oral health.
Here on All Pet Voices, we are celebrating by partnering with some incredible pet brands to offer this Sparkling Smiles Giveaway!
We’re making this another Win One Give One Giveaway! That means that the winner will receive this fabulous prize bundle featuring PetSafe, Oxyfresh, and yummy treats, AND the winner will also get to pick an animal rescue from CUDDLY.com to donate a prize bundle to!

We brush our shepsky’s teeth once a week, and give him crunchy, dental treats, in order to keep his teeth and breath nice and fresh
Sounds like you are on top of your shepsky’s dental health – kudos!!!
we brush and give vitamins!

Brushing is key! Way to make that a part of your routine!
I give my dogs treats that help clean the teeth and also try to brush when possible.
It’s great your dogs let you brush their teeth!
We brush our dogs teeth and give them rawhides to chew.
Yay for teeth brushing!!
We give her dry food, Nylabone brand chewies, avoid people food and do regular checks with our vet for dental health
Your vet is such an important part of your pet’s health! Awesome!
We take long walks, play at the dog park, cuddle, play with her toys, give her treats and brush her teeth!
Love it! So much pet health in all of that!!
We give him dental treats.
A yummy part of dental health!
I brush my dog’s teeth with baking soda and my fingers. He’s not scared like he is with a toothbrush.
Have you tried the little “tooth brushes” that are like finger puppets? They just add a bit of coarseness to your finger so you can still use your finger. That might help, too!
We use dental treats and vitamins
I give my dog Greenies, brush his teeth almost every day and he loves chewing on Nylabones.
Sounds like you are focused on your dog’s dental health! Way to go!
Dental treats, water treatment and yearly dental cleanings
Have you tried the anesthesia free cleanings before?
We give her dry food and chewies.
What’s her favorite chewy?
I’m learning to brush their teeth every night. They’re not thrilled!
If only they knew it was for their health! Good work though, even though they don’t think so!
My Aussie would love this.
For sure! What is your Aussie’s current dental care routine?
dental treats and vitamins
Yummy dental treats! What kind of vitamins?
We give them vitamins and treats that “brush” their teeth for them.
What kind of vitamins? Dental health specific? Or overall health? Curious minds want to know! 🙂
We give our dogs dental treats.
We give our boy Bailey dental treats and dry dog food and visits to the Vet
Vet visits are an important part of dental health, and overall health. Way to go!
With our sheltie, we do brush his teeth, however with our cane corso…that is not going to happen so she along with the sheltie get bones to help her clean them.
Bones are helpful. A water additive might be a good addition for both, too!
We give our dogs dental chew toys to gnaw on. I would like to add dental treats to our routine!
Dental treats are a great addition. So is a water additive to help break down the tartar!
We brush Loxley’s teeth once a week which is what our vet told us to do
Vet guidance is important. Way to go!
We add the dental treat package to our barkbox, includes the treat ans some chicken flavored toothpaste
Oh, chicken flavored toothpaste. Does your dog love that?
We used dental chews! But definitely trying to brush my dogs teeth more often!
Dental chews are great. And A for effort on the teeth brushing! It can be quite a feat!
I bought a bottle of minty stuff to put in the dog water fountain and it foamed so bad that I could not use it.
