I’m commenting without much thought because I normally praise omegas as a first line of defense in nutrition, but Tommy died a week ago today. I’m entering for Stewart.

I get taken to the vet as scheduled and TW tries to feed me the best food she can afford. She pays close attention to what’s in my litter box and how much. I also get lots of interactive playtime where I do a lot of running and jumping. Not bad for a 17 yr old cat.

I have learned from owning many cats, both feral that I took in and otherwise that supplements of many kinds are necessary for cat health, just like people. Skin and other organ health depends on supplemental nutrition in the form of supplements and special foods (and treats!), especially in cats over 10 years old. My cats have lived until 18 and 20 years old and my current, last cat, is 16. My allergies won’t permit me to have anymore cats after this one passes away. I will miss my fur baby when that day comes!

My cat gets a sensitive stomach and skin formula. It makes her coat so healthy and shiny. Kali gets her yearly check ups and a daily multivitamin. She gets plenty of natural vitamin d where her daily brushing, as we sit on the top step and enjoy the sunshine. And she gets a lot of mental enrichment as she “hunts” for her treats and plays with her mice.

I leave a tiny bowl of coconut oil by their feeding station which they ‘snack’ off at will and since doing that no more skin issues, hairballs aren’t a thing anymore and it’s also good for killing germs in their mouth (ours too, we put 1/8th in our morning coffee and voila, no more coffee breath. It also kills bad bugs in our intestines which is important as 70% of overall health is gut health) which helps with their dental health

We use a mixture of dry food and since we eat salmon a lot he always gets a little at least twice a week. He’s indoors and outdoor and loves to hunt and leave us presents on our porch. He follows us to the park and the mailbox and is very playful. We also use a auto feeder so my daughter doesn’t over feed him and limit treats to when we want him to come in for the night but he’s having to much fun and needs some motivation.

I play with her, and make sure she eats healthy. I also watch her litter box to make sure it all looks normal.

I make sure my cat’s are not over fed and that they get plenty of exercise playing with toys.

I keep all my cats healthy by maintaining a clean food/water area along with healthy litter changes and lots of cuddles.

Take my cat Oreo to the vet for shots, annual checkups, feed him healthy options, play with him for excercise!

My cats are aging and starting to slow down. I have started giving them a supplement.

I keep my mancats healthy by feeding them a nutritious diet. I keep their brains healthy and active by giving them plenty of toys to play with, including puzzle toys. Regular vet checks are also part of our routine (much to the boys’ dismay).
