For our holiday guide this year, we went directly to the source – the dogs and cats of All Pet Voices! Each pet picked out their top gifts by reminiscing about their favorite things. The benefit of having a team of pet lovers means that the opinions of 7 dogs and 9 cats are represented, so there is truly something for everyone!
No matter how you choose to celebrate this holiday season, we hope you include your pets in the special, quality time that comes with it. Happy Holidays from us to you. Give your pets a snuggle from the entire All Pet Voices team!

2021 Holiday Gift Guide for Dogs & Cats
Onyx’s Favorite Things
Onyx is a patient, lovable perma-puppy who you wouldn’t know has a myriad of managed health conditions (and is one of the inspirations behind #PetHealth5). He has crushes on cats, guards the yard against the rabbits, and wants to be everyone’s friend after a proper sniff. He loves treats, snacks, meals, cookies, and more. He wants attention from all humans and cats. Onyx prefers to spend his time at the feet of Chloe DiVita, APV Co-Founder (waiting for crumbs) and is looking forward to the invention of tele-transportation so he can avoid car rides to get to the adventures at the end.
Follow Onyx at @greyhound_groupie.
Brilliant Salon Oil
Onyx loves everything about this, but mostly the fact that it’s a single ingredient: salmon oil. It’s helped his coat and his dry nose! Mom loves the color.
Loving Pets – $19.49-$33.99
Onyx loves the style and how it helps make mealtime easier on his neck. Mom loves that it’s easy to clean!
Golden Health Organic Dog Treats
Lord Jameson – $12.99
Onyx loves coconut, so the little flakes on the treats make them extra tasty! Mom loves the added benefits from the turmeric. This flavor is our favorite, but snag a holiday flavor or candy cane while you can!
CUDDLY Club Membership
For anyone looking to help pets in need this holiday season, we have to mention the CUDDLY Club. You can sign-up for any monthly amount, even just $5. The CUDDLY Club supports pets and pet rescues each month providing needs products and funds and shares the stories with all its members. The funds directly support helping pets in need. Both Onyx and Mom love that.
Christmas Gingerbread Dog Treats Canes
Lord Jameson – $19.99
Onyx is wishing he finds these in his stocking on Christmas morning! Not only are they super festive, but he knows they are made of the good stuff!
Cod Skin Pieces Dog Treats
Icelandic+ – $49.99
Onyx loves them because…fish! They are also easy to chew and not so large that the treat is overwhelming for him, and while they do smell while he is eating them, the smell goes away quickly once he’s done.
Luna’s Favorite Things
Luna is a grumpy, sassy, and very food motivated pug / beagle mix. Her favorite pastimes include outsmarting her people, hiding in her snake pit (of stuffed toy snakes), finding hidden snacks, stealing pizza, sighing dramatically, nestling in blankets, and snuggling with her brother. Luna sometimes (when she feels like it) proudly claims Jessica Shipman, APV Co-Founder.

Yeti Dog Toy
Tall Tails – $27.99
We’ve been huge fans of Tall Tails for a while, so when they launched a yeti dog toy, we knew it would be a hit! And it is. Not only is it soft and durable, but it also makes super fun grunting sounds!
Metallic Bella Bowl
Loving Pets – $6.49-$18.49
The most important thing to Luna is mealtime, which also means that her bowl is one of her prized possessions. We’ve been using Bella Bowls for a long time because of their durability, ease of cleaning, and classy look.
Cranberry Cobbler Flavor Bearnola Bites
Charlee Bear – $9.99
What’s better than a seasonal treat? Luna says “nothing!” I usually keep a bag of Bearnola Bites near my desk at home, so they are their special “work day” treat. The Cranberry Cobbler flavor is just perfect for the holidays!
Polar Pom Pom Hat
Canada Pooch – $20
Luna might not actually LOVE this item, but she looks pretty darn cute in it. She gets a bit chilly, so this helps keep her warm while also looking like the cutest snow bunny in the whole world.
Spike Beggnog Dog Toy
BARK – $12.99
Luna has this habit of grabbing the largest possible toy and running around with it each time we come home, so when I saw this Beggnog I just knew that she needed it for the holiday season.
Beef Collagen Braids
Pawstruck – $21.99-$41.65
Luna and her brother Ralph could chew for days if we let them. While chewing is important for them both, we always look for high quality and SAFE chews as we know they’ll be digesting them. We recently found Pawstruck and have no regrets. We’ll keep coming back thanks to the quality of their chews!
Elvis’s Favorite Things
Elvis a blue-ticked beagle and lives in San Diego where he walks with a pack of close dog friends and out-runs all the younger dogs at the beach. His human (Christy Castillo, APV Graphic Designer) recently learned that he is also a field beagle, which explains a lot – though Elvis already knew. He’s friendly with all animals, even cats and the neighbor chihuahuas that like to tell him what for. He enjoys chasing and catching flies, but hides in his teepee when they outsmart him. Every week, he likes to watch trash pick-up from the balcony. Other hobbies include: tricks, agility, scent work and treats.

Kylo Ren’s Favorite Things
Kylo Ren is a big momma’s boy of Emily Hall, APV Social Media Manager. He loves to go hiking and camping. Though he is 5 years old, he acts like big baby. He will whine until he gets his way, but then he turns into a big snuggler. Don’t let his adorable appearance fool you though… he is Dark Side, after all!
Follow Kylo Ren at @kittycatgoadventures.
Hands-Free/Convertible Kylo Leash
KittyCatGO – $39.90
As avid cat adventurers, we love having a durable yet lightweight leash for taking my cats out. It’s quick and easy to clean, and the hands-free option frees up my hands for other things. Plus, it comes in so many fun colors!
Adventure Kitty Harness
RC Pets – $26
We love this cat harness because it’s secure without being too restrictive. The chest piece puts any pulling pressure on my cats’ chest rather than their throat. It’s also not too hot during summer months.
Worker Puzzle Toy
Nina Ottoson by Outward Hound – $29.75
This puzzle toy gives my cats a mental workout and keeps them busy. It’s fun to see which cats are the quickest at solving it too! They all love it because TREATS!
Clear Window Bird Feeder
Nature’s Hangout – $28.90
What cat doesn’t love a close encounter with birds?! My cats go nuts chattering at the birds as they eat from the window feeder.
Arcadia Trail – $39.99
ALL my cats go crazy for this thing. We keep it set up in the living room. They love to jump in and out the windows and chase each other through it. The humans can easily get involved in tent playtime too.
Daviana’s Favorite Things
Daviana is a high-energy and spirited German Shepherd mix. At 13-years-old, she is considered a senior dog, but she didn’t get the memo. This momma’s girl loves to be on the go with her favorite activities including hiking, swimming, canoeing, and a good wrestling match with the rest of her pack. She loves everyone, greeting each new friend with kisses and snuggles… especially her mom, Britt Kascjak, APV Editor!
Follow Daviana at @shedhappensblog.
KONG – $6.99
These simple squeaky balls are the perfect option for dogs that enjoy a game of fetch, like Daviana. Not only are they soft to catch and carry, but they stand up well to the abuse of frequent play over time.
Wild Knots Flamingo
KONG – $16.99
Affectionately referred to as ‘Mingo’ in our house, the Wild Knots Flamingo has been Daviana’s favorite stuffed animal toy for over a decade. It looks a little worse for the wear but it’s still going strong.
Automatic Ball Launcher
PetSafe – $169.95
Compatible with all standard tennis balls and even the medium KONG Squeezz Ball mentioned above, this easy-to-use ball launcher keeps up with Daviana’s high-energy play long after she has managed to wear me out.
WagWorthy Naturals Advanced Formula Hip + Joint Supplement for Dogs
While Daviana is a highly energetic and playful dog, she is also getting up in years. At 13-years-old, playtime catches up with her more than it used to. WagWorthy Naturals Hip and Joint Supplements address her aches and pains, allowing her to run and play like a young pup once again.
DayPak Dog Saddle Bag
Outward Hound – $39.99
As a German Shepherd mix, Daviana is a working dog and nothing makes her happier than to have a job to do. When we are out on the trails, she proudly carries her own gear in this comfortable dog backpack, adding to her work out while also fulfilling her need for a purpose.
Pippen’s Favorite Things
Pippen is a sweet and soft-spoken cat. But don’t let that fool you – she has the energy of a young kitten and loves nothing more than playing fetch for hours on end. She loves being part of the pack, cuddling, and playing with everyone she meets including both dogs and other cats. She gets excited at the sight of her harness and leash, looking forward to future adventures of hiking, camping, and bird watching with Mom (Britt Kascjak, APV Editor) in the hammock.
Follow Pippen at @shedhappensblog.
KONG – $7.99
Pippen has always had a love for any toys that include a feather, and the KONG Wubba Bird features a long tail that grabs her attention every time she sees it. It’s the perfect toy for a game of fetch or add a little catnip to the surface for some extra fun.
Dancing Dot Laser Cat Toy
PetSafe – $21.95
Anytime that Pippen wants to play with her favorite laser pointer toy, she starts pawing at the toy in an effort to get it to start. If anyone presses the button to turn it on, the tone it makes sends her running to find it, excited. Nothing keeps her attention longer than that dancing red dot!
Planter Lounge Cat Hammock
Catastrophic Creations – $67
After a long day of playtime, there is nothing Pippen loves more than to curl up on her cat hammock and relax. The included planter on this specific Catastrophic Creations model is a perfect opportunity to include some cat grass for her to enjoy while keeping it secure, up and off the floor.
Come With Me Kitty Cat Harness & Bungee Leash
PetSafe – $16.95
This harness is comfortable for Pippen to wear over an extended time while she’s basking in the sunshine or joining her pack for a fun hike. The bungee-style leash makes it easy to keep an eye on her while still offering her some freedom to play and explore.
Peek-a-Bird Electronic Cat Toy
PetSafe – $31.95
When turned on, this interactive bird toy flings a feather teaser around out both sides of the toy. The only thing better than the fact that it’s a dancing feather is the fact that the company included a replacement feather teaser for when Pippen killed the first one!
Ralph’s Favorite Things
Ralph has the sweetest soul, but is slow to make new friends. His life started out a little challenging as he was abandoned in a State Park, so it’s taken him a little time to come out of his shell. He is magical mutt with Australian Cattle Dog as his predominant breed. He loves to run and play, but wouldn’t be caught without his people (like Jessica Shipman, APV Co-Founder) or sister, Luna. If you have the honor of becoming his friend, Ralph will soon expect endless amounts of snuggles and pets, so get your petting hand ready!
Follow Ralph at @beaglesbargains.
Mini Shrimp Dog Treats
Icelandic+ – $15.99
Ralph is a huge fan of catching treats out of the air. We use these mini shrimp treats to keep him active and entertained both inside and out in the backyard. He loves the flavor and crunch. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that the smaller size means lower calories per treat!
Ginger’s Snappuccino Dog Toy
BARK – $9.99
Small squeaky toys are Ralph’s absolute favorite. He loves to throw them up in the air to catch or chase. It’s one of the most adorable things I’ve ever seen, so naturally I fell in love with the seasonal offerings from BARK and these coffee and cookie toys are perfect for the holiday season!
Briny & Bright “Dill-Lightful” Holiday Pickle Plush Dog Toy
Merry Makings – $5.99
Growing up we always put a pickle on our Christmas tree, so when I saw this adorable line of Christmas Pickle dog toys, I may have bought several. They come in several different sizes and sport multiple fun pickle puns.
Don’t Furget the Treats Notepad
Pawstruck – $4.99
Since Ralph is the sweetest pup in the world, he wanted to use his last wish on something for his humans. He’s getting excited for our holiday road trip ahead and wants to make sure that we don’t forget to pack the treats, so he knew this notepad would do the trick!
Sophie’s Favorite Things
Sophie is a uniquely laid back cat who loves to get out for adventures to meet new people and make new friends. All species are welcome. She has a neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia that makes her a bit unsteady on her feet, but that doesn’t get in her way. She is truly one of the happiest and joyful cats on the planet and loves spending time with Emily Hall, APV Social Media Manager.
Follow Sophie at @kittycatgoadventures.
Wall-Mounted Cat Scratching Pole
Catastrophic Creations – $110-$160
We have a whole “cat wall” of shelves and scratchers from Catastrophic Creations, but the wall-mounted scratcher is the cats’ favorite piece. They climb up it, sit on top of it, and scratch around on it.
Da Bee Cat Catcher
GoCat – $14.99
This is hands-down my cats’ favorite wand toy. If they even hear the drawer open of where we keep it, they come running! They will leap through the air after it and chase it down the hallway. It’s a great form of exercise and a fun way to bond with interactive play.
Donut Cat Bed
You can find one of my cats napping in this bed at any given moment. It’s cozy and comfy, and if it gets dirty, I can easily throw it in the wash.
Electric Heated Blanket
Sunbeam – $119.99-$169.95
This obviously isn’t a product specifically made for pets, but if you asked my cats what their favorite thing in the world is (besides food), they would tell you it’s our electric heated blanket. We keep it on our bed, and whenever it’s on, you can usually find at least four cats laid out on it.
Indiana’s Favorite Things
Indiana is an old soul that spends much of his time curled up on the couch with his anyone that will give him cuddles. He doesn’t have much of an interest in most toys unless, of course, there is food involved and then that’s a game changer! However, this guy has NO self-control when it comes to food, so we (Britt Kascjak, APV Editor) have to be careful to secure his food where he can’t get at it between meals.
Follow Indiana at @shedhappensblog.
Fun Feeder Slo Bowl
Outward Hound – $9.99-$19.99
Indiana has a bad habit of inhaling his food without a second thought, which can lead to complications if we don’t do something about it. Introducing a slow feeder bowl forces him to slow down, allowing him to actually taste his meal.
Tux Treat Toy
West Paw – $17.95-$21.95
During the hot summer months, Indiana’s favorite treat is his Tux toy frozen with yogurt and fresh fruit. There are endless options for treats that can be added to the frozen filling. It’s the perfect solution to cool down in the backyard.
Another alternative to the slow feeder bowl, the KONG Wobbler makes playtime fun. In order to get to his food, Indiana has to nudge and move the toy around. Not only does this offer mental stimulation, but it also forces him to slow down and eat his meals at a pace that won’t make him sick.
Large Elevated Dog Bed
Carlson Pet Products – $39.99
Indiana checks to make sure that we pack his dog bed every camping trip. It keeps him up off the ground comfortably while also allowing the cool breeze to move beneath him. At the same time, we love that it packs up so easily for travel.
Dog Twister Interactive Treat Puzzle Dog Toy
Nina Ottosson by Outward Hound – $24.99
Challenging him to work for his food, the Nina Ottosson line of dog puzzle toys from Outward Hound are a big hit for Indiana with the Dog Twister being his favorite. It encourages him to tap into his natural hunting instincts while rewarding him at the end with a delicious surprise.
Jinx’s Favorite Things
Jinx is a stereotypical tortie, full of spunk and sass. She isn’t afraid to voice exactly what she wants in any situation, demanding food, treats, or attention throughout the day with a loud meow. When her playful side emerges, she loves nothing more than a little catnip on (or in) whatever toy she’s given. Her ‘resting tortie face’ may seem a little intimidating at times, but she loves being around others whenever possible. She’s a part of the pack of Britt Kascjak, APV Editor.
Follow Jinx at @shedhappensblog.
Cat Active Sway ‘n Play
KONG – $17.99
The use of a magnet in this toy causes the mouse to move around in random ways, adding some interest to playtime. While Jinx isn’t a cat that likes to run around as much (she’s a little lazy at times), this toy draws in her attention and leaves her rolling around on her back acting like a young kitten.
Expandable Extra Tall Pet Gate with Slide Handle
Carlson Pet Products – $89.99
While Jinx loves playing with her canine pack members, there are also times that she wants to simply be left alone. This gate is tall enough to keep the larger dogs in the house out of her safe space while the little cat door near the bottom makes it easier for her to pass through, coming and going as she pleases.
Senses 2.0 Food Tree
Catit – $19.99
Jinx is a very food-driven cat who often gets herself into trouble by eating too much, too quickly. By pouring her food into the Catit Food Tree, mealtime becomes a chance to hunt and find her ‘prey’. It also has multiple levels of difficulty, allowing her to start easy until she figured that out and then continue to challenge her by leveling it up over time.
Stinkies Catnip Sardines
Yeowww! – $9.99
Jinx finds these little catnip-filled fish to be completely irresistible. She happily bats them around the house for hours on end, swatting and biting at them. They are also her favorite toy for travel as they keep her entertained inside her carrier, helping to take her mind off the fact that she’s in a scary vehicle.
Refillables Purrsonality Moody
KONG – $5.99
Jinx is a HUGE fan of anything that includes catnip. Not only do these toys come with high-quality catnip to get her up and moving, but the refillable design allows you to refresh the catnip as needed to keep everything fresh and exciting.
Lucifer’s Favorite Things
Lucifer is a goofy little pup with two clear sides to his personality. One minute he’ll be snuggling in for cuddles and kisses and the next minute he’s doing parkour in the living room. He’s an eager learner and loves training time with Mom (Britt Kascjak, APV Editor), picking up on each trick and obedience command surprisingly quickly. Of course, offering him a delicious treat reward for his never-ending puppy appetite doesn’t hurt!
Follow Lucifer at @shedhappensblog.
Like any puppy, Lucifer is mischievous, looking to explore anything and everything. One of the only ways to keep him occupied for any extended time during housework time or while working from home is to provide his KONG stuffed with a delicious surprise.
Corestrength Bow Tie
KONG – $7.99-$11.99
The very first toy that Lucifer picked out himself from the pet store was his KONG Corestrength Bow Tie. This compact chew toy has become part of his nighttime routine. Every night he curls up to chew on it until it’s time to fall asleep. Despite this regular abuse, it continues to stand strong!
Squeezz Goomz Ball
KONG – $5.99
One of the things that Lucifer learned early was how to play fetch, and he loves it! The KONG Squeez Goomz Ball is the perfect combination of a tennis-type ball for fetch and a chew toy with entertaining plastic nubs.
$9.99 per month
Training a puppy is a lot of work, but the Pupford Academy makes the process easy. You can work your way through easy-to-follow video lessons in a convenient phone app. After working through the basic obedience lessons, Lucifer is now starting to try out some of the more advanced tricks.
Grain Free Crunch Bacon & Blueberry
Charlee Bear – $6.99
Anyone that has tried to train a puppy knows the importance of finding a treat that they love. Lucifer loves any of the healthy, low-calorie training treats from Charlee Bear, but his favorite is the Grain Free Crunch Bacon & Blueberry.
Common themes of enrichment, treats, and comfort can be found through out our holiday wish list. We’re pretty sure that our pups and cats will be super excited to celebrate no matter what they find in their stockings or under the Christmas tree.
We also want to know… what is your cat or dog hoping to get their paws on this holiday season?
