Sterling “TrapKing” Davis

Sterling “TrapKing” Davis is a well-traveled, ex-military, musician, and cat enthusiast based in Atlanta, GA. He has always loved entertaining and even likes people.

Motto: You don’t lose cool points for compassion.

Takeaways from Sterling “TrapKing” Davis:

  • In 2017, he started a non-profit called TrapKing Humane Cat Solutions which focuses on educating, assisting, TNR, and community cat management.
  • Before becoming TrapKing, Sterling was a musician and entertainer on tour. Then he saw an ad on Craigslist seeking help at the local county shelter for cats and it changed his life.
  • There are many gaps and stereotypes that affect TNR efforts. The key is education and awareness about TNR and compassion for each other as well as the cats.

Closing

“No matter what it is, what we are going through as far as Corona, police brutality, this isn’t a black and white thing. This is an “us”, a unity thing. The quicker we come together, the better we can tackle these issues in the world as well as TNR Community Cat Care and stop all this euthanasia. Let’s unite and remember together we are stronger and can tackle all of these issues.”
