Diane Rose-Solomon
An award-winning author, Diane Rose-Solomon’s interest in the pet space began with ‘accidentally’ rescuing a puppy 25 years ago. Through her experience, she learned more about the world of animal rescue and humane education, serving on the board of directors for a small animal rescue organization. She has published 3 books to date including 2 children’s books: JJ the American Street Dog and How He Came to Live in Our House and JJ Goes to Puppy Class, as well as a family friendly book: What to Expect When Adopting a Dog.
Passionate about the power of the human-animal bond and the therapeutic benefits of interaction with animals on our physical, mental, and emotional health, Diane founded Animal Magic Films. She is currently working on producing a series of mini-documentary films that are focused on the therapeutic benefits of animals in a variety of different applications including the care and management of conditions like diabetes, seizure conditions, and more.
